Jake Parker is a professional staff member focused on trade and economic issues on the majority staff of the House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. Jake previously served as a policy advisor to Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. and as Republican Staff Director on the Senate Finance Committee Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Growth Subcommittee. Before transitioning to the Hill, Jake spent 10 years in Beijing and Shanghai working on investment policy issues with the US-China Business Council, as a program manager at Philips Healthcare, and as the director of operations of the USA Pavilion Shanghai Expo 2010.
