Dr. Babra Ontibile Bhebe is the Executive Director of the Election Resource Centre (ERC). She has more than 18 years of professional experience in the human rights and governance sector including electoral democracy work. She has a long history of managing large and strategic awards, strengthening, and developing teams, and identifying and nurturing talent. Her experience includes organizational leadership; program and sub-grantee management, capacity development, advocacy campaign development, political economy analysis, gender integration and advocacy, business development, and integrated programming. She has also taken part in numerous election observation missions and has a wealth of expertise doing pre-election assessments. She has led the technical and operational performance of various civil society programs and has designed and implemented programs on electoral advocacy, gender equality, human rights protection, anti-corruption, peacebuilding, and social accountability.
