She earned her law degree from the Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino in 2000 and qualified as a university professor at the Universidad Católica de Salta in 2002. She worked in both the legal profession and teaching within the private sector.
From 2012 to 2013, she served as Undersecretary of Human Development for the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy.
