I am Of Counsel in the Budapest office of Dentons, the world’s largest law firm. I am also a member of the faculty of Corvinus University of Budapest’s School of Business. I am a practical and solution driven counselor focusing on complex commercial transactions, AI, digital and other information technologies and corporate risk and policy matters. My work has involved, among other areas, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, biotechnology, health care, financial institutions, food processing, entertainment, transport, consumer goods, telecom, media, real estate and services.
I draw on my extensive commercial and legal experience arising from previous leadership positions in the US and Europe at premier international law firms and one of the Big 4. I have also served as a highly rated Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University’s School of Law in Washington, DC.
I am a former Fulbright Scholar and hold both a US law degree and a European law degree: a JD from Columbia University and a LLM from Eötvös Loránd University. I am fluent in German and Hungarian in addition to my native English. I am a member of the Bars of New York, the District of Columbia and The Supreme Court of the United States. I am a registered foreign legal advisor in Hungary. I am a former President and Chair of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary. I am listed on the Recommended Roll of Arbitrators of the Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
I am a regular invited speaker on international commercial transactions, AI and other commercial and technology matters. I am the author of the recent article “The Challenge of Defining Artificial Intelligence in the EU AI Act” in the Q ranked and peer reviewed Journal of Data Protection and Privacy and a highly rated teacher at Corvinus University of Budapest’s School of Business of the course “Business Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
